Providing the web app
When you open the web app, Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) receives your IP address, the requested page or file, the time, and technical request data, including the language preference sent by your browser. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf to deliver the site in that language and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interests are a secure and reliable service in the language requested by your browser. We do not keep our own access logs. Cloudflare normally retains request logs for no more than seven days, but may keep them longer where required for security or by law. Data may be processed outside the EEA. Cloudflare relies on an adequacy decision where applicable and otherwise on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards. Opening a document from a URL
If you open a URL, your device connects directly to the server you entered. Its operator receives your IP address, the time, and technical request data and is responsible for that processing. Neither the request nor the document passes through our servers. The function runs at your request on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
If you email us, we process your address, message, and email metadata to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual matters and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to answer enquiries. We use iCloud Mail from Apple Distribution International Ltd. (Ireland). Apple may process data in the United States under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses; details are available at apple.com/legal/privacy/en-ww/. We delete messages once the matter is closed unless legal retention duties or legal claims require longer storage. Providing this information is voluntary, but without it we cannot reply.
Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Contact us at the email address above.
